Given the proposed use of this project a large single glazed picture window is of little benefit. Windows and doors are therefore replaced with double glazed alternatives or simply blocked off where not required.
Insulation, especially in the roof is virtually non existent and so a simple roof was pitched above the
existing caravan roof, this was well insulated and covered with felt shingles to give an attractive but cost effective finish. Vertical timbers were then fixed to the sides and shiplap timber cladding was applied. Again the original inadequate insulation was upgraded at this time.
